European Lighting Cluster Alliance

The European Lighting Cluster Alliance (ELCA) was formed by Cluster Lumière Lyon and The Danish Lighting Innovation Network in 2011 and have received support from the national agencies of science & technology in France (OSEO) and Denmark (DASTI).

Through meetings, conferences, lighting design contests, and networking events, the alliance will address critical themes such as the need for technological innovation, market development, characterization & certification of new lighting sources.

The alliance will be coordinating joint events and workshops in order to facilitate a broader collaboration between its members.

The first of these is the Copenhagen Lighting Challenge 2011.
