Lighting in Copenhagen are somewhat different to especially the southern part of Europe due to a strong and unique regulation and big inheritance from the last century. Thus, developing new lighting designs is a difficult task. The lighting has to evolve while still maintaining the particular atmosphere that Copenhagen take pride in.

The workshop aims to produce a number of inspiring suggestions for new lighting designs for two specific urban spaces in the City of Copenhagen: Christianshavns Torv and Mozarts Plads.
